Classes

Please read the following in advance of booking and attending classes.

  • Places on the course will need to be booked and paid for in advance
  • 14 days notice is required in the event of a cancellation. We cannot offer refunds within 14 days of a class starting (including during the class) however you may use the balance against the cost of a different course.
  • We do not offer weekly payments for classes
  • Gates open 15 mins before the class starts
  • Puppies should be vaccinated and you will be asked to confirm this on your booking form. You should bring your vaccination card to your first session. If you attend without the full course of puppy vaccines you do so at your own risk.
  • We teach and promote force-free training techniques. No punishment or force will be tolerated.
  • You must understand before commencing training that the classes are held on agricultural land and there may be things about such as tractors, livestock and farm workers. Livestock and wildlife have access to the field and may leave feaces. You must understand classes are held on agricultural land before booking and attending.
  • Every action has been taken to prevent the sheep accessing the training area but there is no guarantee this does not happen. You understand this before attending.
  • You understand that classes are held on agricultural land and, as such, the ground may not be level, there may be sudden dips and holes and the grass may become long in places. The field may become waterlogged and muddy after heavy rain. This is a field and the grass and ground is reflective of this.
  • Outside the training area there could be sheep poo as sheep graze the field during the week. We will not be responsible for your dog ingesting sheep poo. Every precaution has been taken to prevent the sheep getting onto the training area. We are not responsible for animal poo in the training area.
  • Dogs should attend classes on a collar or standard Y-front harness with a standard lead. A 5ft/10ft long line will also be an advantage. No Flexi leads or any device designed to cause pain or discomfort will be allowed.
  • Puppies should remain on lead unless instructed otherwise
  • You will be required to work on your puppies training outside of the class.
  • Family members are welcome to join the classes. However we ask that children are not allowed to wander and touch the other puppies in the class. We reserve the right to ask that disruptive children do not attend classes in the future.
  • Graduates will get a rossette and a goody bag. This is based on attendance of 6 out of 8 sessions.
  • While every step is taken to ensure your puppies safety, there is always the chance of injury, loss or damage to your puppy, your family members or yourself. Pawfectly Behaved Pets or Aimee Gardiner cannot take resposibility for any injury, loss or damage sustained to any party whilst in attendance at the class.
  • Your puppy is your responsibility.  Aimee Gardiner and Pawfectly Behaved Pets are there for the provision of training advice.
  • Puppies showing signs of illness should not attend.
  • No refunds will be given within the timeframe specified
  • Classes are not suitable for discussion of behaviour plans.
  • There is a zero tolerance policy on dog poo. You must clean it up.
  • You access the venue at your own risk! You are responsible for any damage you cause when accessing the venue.
